Dan Didio is an asshole. A complete and total asshole.
As I have no scanner all I can do is quote the Christmas List he wrote in this week's DC Nation
"ROBIN -A memorial for Stephanie Brown can't do!"
WTF!!! How long has this battle been going on between the fans and Didio? To damn long. Will the fans get what they want? Not until Didio leaves. Fucker.

I've joined a new fandom, the Tin Man fandom, and while its really cool that it's growing strong...It's growing way fast, and some of the works are just not quality. So...yeah. There's good works, and then there's bad works.
*shrug* I suspect the craze to get new fan works out there will die down in a month or so then pick back up in March when the DVD is released and everyone goes crazy again. And after that craze we'll actully start getting the good stuff.
Also I'm really happy for
suiko_rpg being so active again. It's like how it was when I joined. There are somethings that I'm not happy about with the new mods and their secret take over, but, really not much I can do.
I saw the Golden Compass...and I really think I should read the book to enjoy it more... << Some of the plotting of the movie was just...odd. Though the woman who played Mre. Coulter (I'm too lazy/pressed for time to look this stuff up) would make an excellent Emma Frost. And some plot twits I guessed half way before the movie revealed them. When you have an orphan character nine times out of ten their parents get involved and pop up and say "we're not dead, it was because of...blah blah blah" ... and that's dumb
I have a gig tonight, in three hours and forty five minutes so, I'm off. Ciao.

So I spent about four hours last night rocking out at work while cleaning the inflatables. It was fun, I got to play with wax and it was great fun.
Other than that. Not much going on. A little annoyed at a particular person who seems to be ignoring me, but hey, what can I do?
I'm really bored. Like really really bored. So bored that I'm just going to go to Barns and Nobel and just read comics. Can't buy, as that would cost money, none of which I have.
So if you're bored, and have my number, which means you live in my area, give me a call, lets go do something!

So...I went on a date on Monday. It was nice and very boring. They guy was part of OSU Dance Department and he was just...boring. Didn't read, claimed to find it a waste of time. That was the biggest turn off.
New Job is going good.
I watched Tin Man all this week. I enjoyed it. Glitch *points to icon* was my favorite character. It was odd, but in a good way. there was was some slashy moments between Glitch and Cain (the Tin Man). Some things were confusing. Like why was it called Tin Man if Wyatt Cain wasn't the main character, but the second main character, hell, his actors name was third in the credits. The story got a little campy at the end, but I could deal with that. there were no lose ends when the series ended, but left on an open note. Climax, hugs, and then suns. There was no unnessary twists during the whole thing, of which I'm proud of the Sci-Fi channel of.
Now for this weeks comics. I'm enjoying Messiah CompleX for the most part. This weeks issue was lacking some of the energy the previous ones were, even with the major battle scene that happened.
In the Ultimate Imprint...I'm not so happy about, but hopefully things will come around. One thing that really pisses me off is the treatment of Emma Frost. SHE IS NOT A CLONE OF HER NORMAL UNIVERSE SELF! DAMN IT KIRKMAN, RESPECT THE FACT THAT OTHER HAVE MADE HER DIFFERENT. In the Ultimates some things were brought up that needed brought up and that was good.

Sebastian Green is now my pen name, as it won the poll.
I'm currently happy with how most things are. I mean, I need to get back in shape, but other than that I'm cool.
Friday I went drinking with some friends and got completely drunk for the first time. It's been three months since I turned twenty-one and I've been using my right to drink, but before I've never been more than tipsy, mostly because I had this fear of being totally out of control. I honestly didn't expect to get as drunk as I did, but I hadn't eaten dinner and for lunch I just had Udon and cucumber slices, so after a Smirnoff and a shot of Goldschläger I was done. It was a wonderful experience, I wasn't completely shit-faced, but I was elated all the same. This lasted for about thirty minutes when I started calling people, then I called my ex-boyfriend Mark, who's number I really should get rid of, and then after having a giggle fit I turned suddenly weepy and kept going on and on. But after the machine cut me off and I got hugs from my friends I was back to being happy again. I'm a pretty loud drunk I've discovered, and more easily amused than I usually am.

So, this week as been fun. Wednesday night I went to Cleveland for the Nightwish concert. Totally, totally awesome. I left Columbus at about 11:30. Class got out at 10:50, and I had to go pick up my comic pull, so I got on the high way about 11:30. boring drive. 'bout two o'clock I get there, first I have to find the club, which then I had to find a parking spot. The guy running the lot thought I was from Australia or something. Somehow I ended up convincing him I was from Ireland. Go figure. So I walk around Cleveland for 'bout an hour listened to my iPod. It was fun. About Three-ish I get back to my car. I read my comics and then walked back to the club where people are already in line for the concert. I get some food, a veggie sub, and then get in line behind these three punk guys and in front of this sixteen year old kid. I was dressed fairly normal, my jeans with the viper printed on it, my black shirt with the heart stabbed and barbed wired wrapped around it, and my salmon orange hoodie over that. So I looked fairly normal save for the awful color of my hoodie. So I waited in the line from four until seven. It was boring, it was long, but it was worth both the wait and the pain on my bladder. I was right in front of the stage. It was so cool. I was sandwiched between the sixteen year old, and some guy with really pretty hair and a nice ass. Paradise Lost, the opening band, was OK. Nightwish was Awesome. I was less than six inches away from Emppu. He and Marco had such good synergy going on. And Annette had this cute little dance that she did. During the Islander, during the part where she sings with Marco "Princess in the tower, children in the field" she came out wearing a crown. It was so cute! Tuomas looks like Jack Sparrow, it's kinda scary.
Thursday was boring. I played with the puppies, watched Smaville. that's pretty much it.
Friday and Saturday was my last days scaring small children. I am sad it is done, but it was fun. Cathy convinced me to do NaNoWriMo 'cause I'm already working on a story, it's not typed up at all, and I won't start typing it up until November starts. Legion of Super-Heroes was kinda campy on Saturday. But Nemesis Kid and Karate Kid were cool, and Chameleon Boy is love. Also I'm convinced that show is being slashy on purpose. Karate Kid/Chameleon Boy is invading my brain and it's all I can do to say "NO STOP!!!"
Today was fun. Worked some background information on my novel for NaNoWriMo, it's a superhero novel. Surprise Surprise. I also have a new official gay couple since Rhen/Kenneth was just so unproportional, and Sigurd/Allen just never really out there. I mean, Rhen was an immortal who could caused lots of havoc and mayhem and generally spread chaos through out the multiverse and would manipulate governments, people, whatever in order to spread said chaos. And Kenneth was just Kenneth. And Sigurd it's just too reserved for that sort of title. So it now goes to Alexie White and Omar Wyatt, both Superheroes AKA Mercury and Tiamat (think Flash and Batman if you want references) and they're fun. Alexie's all happy and Omar's flinty so it's fun.
Also today I got in inspiration for book of short stories and poems involving Transhumanism. I call it H+
Which brings me to my next part. I need a Pen name. so here's a poll! I've already decided my Surname will be Green but I need a personal name.

So, I've actually wrote something. Two somethings even! the following are fanfiction for Marvel's New X-Men series. One was for the
1sentence challenge (one pairing, fifty sentences) and the other is smut. Pure, and total plotless smut that wouldn't leave my brain until I wrote it.
Fandom: (New) X-men
Pairing: Julian "Hellion" Keller x Victor "Anole" Borkowski
Theme set: Epsilon
Rating: er...R-ish
Warning[s]: Some spoilers, but not many.
Notes: Mostly future based.
50 sentences featuring Julian Keller and Vic Borkowski
Title: Unexpected
Author:

Fandom: X-men
Rating: PWP smut
Pairing: Julian/Vic/Josh, kinda sorta.
Words: 1,311
Warnings: um...Smut. Unbetaed as I haven't been able to get a hold of my beta.
Summery: All Julian wanted was some milk.
Notes: First time writing porn in so long. Feedback is very much welcome. (even pointing out mistakes)
Was this a weird dream or a drug trip? All he wanted was a glass of milk>

I'm so sore from working the haunted forest. My thighs hurt so much. Things are going really good thus far. Working at the caverns is pretty easy-going; nowhere near as stressful as Magic Mountain was, thank god. Mostly I work in the gift shop, but I do some ground works, like moving hay, building walls, stuff like that. I also run the Climbing Wall there too, and soon-ish I'm going to start giving tours of the caverns.
I got Cathy and Conrad to work the forest too, they seem like they enjoy it. Cathy works an air cannon and is all ninja-y and Conrad works the bus maze. I work the path between the clown house and cemetery. I'm one of the few people to bring their own costume; and by costume I mean make up. I wear regular clothes (if a red t-shirt with the word SINNER on it over red spandex and tight black pants count as normal) and then paint my face and hands blue-gray and put spider webs on me, I also carry around a bone (It's my magic bone) and scream brains at people.
Speaking of Conrad, all romantic interest I had him (which wasn't much to be honest) is now gone. He's a great guy...he just has no faith at all. He's a complete atheist, everything is science and facts, and that is a total turn off. Who knew I put so much stock in people's beliefs? I mean, I don't care that he's an atheist, I'm not going to stop being friends with him because of it, I just can't see myself being with someone who doesn't see the magic in this world, because that's important to me.
My parents have stopped fighting and things seem ok, but that's just surface water. Who knows what's going on underneath. I've stopped caring. I was talking to my counselor about it, and she says I should move out of the house to get out from my father's smothering influence, or something to that effect. It sounded better how she said it.
Fall's started and for the first time in years I have TV shows I'm going to watch regularly! Desperate Housewives is one, also Smallville which I have spent all summer watching, and cartoon wise I'm watching Legion of Super-Heroes (They make Brainiac 5 so gay...or Clarksexual as Brainy's a robot so I'm not sure he can be considered straight or gay...) and Avatar.
Also for laughs I found this on YouTube.

So I just finished a great book. Hero by Perry Moore was a fantastic book, if a bit confusing at times, and there's a lot of characters to keep track of, but it's a cute story, and it has gay main character.
We also got a new puppy, he is very cute and we haven't quite named him yet. He's very cute and chews on every thing.
My parents are fighting again. Dad's an asshole who over reacts to every thing. Did I mention he's an asshole?

*kicks imagination* I do not need more characters in my head to RP, I have like four, and three of them are being neglected as it is (to be fair, the RP two of them live at is sorta not active *pets Vic and Tommy* and Shoon...is just Shoon and has the attention span of a gnat and doesn't really do much other than be cute and have puppy eyes)
But does my imagination listen? Of course not. It wants me to RP as Kid Apollo. I made an LJ account and everything, made icons and everything. *sigh* And I've wanted to RP as Zachary Zatara and Terry Berg (the gay kid from Kyle's run as the main Green Lantern, was an art assistant, has a power ring, has combat training...why isn't he a Green Lantern? I don't know. This is one of those things that if/when I start writing for DC comics that I will address)
*kicks imagination again* bad bad bad. Why don't you focus on coming up with something useful, like poetry.
Imagination is stupid like that.

Sometimes fandom really does scare me. I've never really been too involved with any fandom I was in, partly because I'm usually a late comer, partly because I don't really care about stuff like what ships are better. I had my ships, but I could and deviate if I found something interesting. Also while I fic sometimes I don't do it a lot, also I have a habit of not commenting on things, particularly if it's an older work, there's a few exceptions, but those are few and far between.
But, last night I discovered Byron Pike/Jeff Schafer from the Baby-Sitters club. Yes, that's right. The Baby-Sitter's Club. It started with a comment about an Aqualad fic I was reading, the author of said fic
mizzmarvel compared Garth to Byron Pike, only that Garth was straight. Then while browsing
amarin_rose looking for a particular Bart fic I wanted to reread I saw the name Byron Pike in her Tags list. Intrigued I clicked it, read her fics and was surprised to find out these characters came from The Baby-Sitter's Club. I was like "hey, those are the books mom wanted me to try and read before I started reading Animorphs"
With the evidence presented to me I thought that Byron was gay in canon and went to investigate, as I'm always looking for main stream media with gay characters in them. Sadly I discovered this was not the case and Byron and Jeff were frozen in time as ten year olds. I also happened to stumble across a BSC slash community, which I checked out, and saw that a good amount, I would venture to say a lot, possibly over half if not more, of the fics posted on this comm were Byron/Jeff. I then found a post were a new comer to the comm was slightly confused by the whole B/J pairing and how popular it was. The finger was pointed at
mizzmarvel. From there I made the obvious connections that since her work was good (which it is, all the work that I read by her were good) it caught on and became a rather popular/dominating pairing. (I should also add that most of works written about these two age them up to sixteen and older before anyone squicks). Hell, after reading the ship manifesto that
mizzmarvel wrote I can see it, but this is probably more do her characterization of the two and how she keeps them true to what characterization they had in the books, and her good writing skills.
So this just goes to show that fandom is kinda scary, but fun at the same time?
After this I had my brain broken by
regendy by telling me all about Envy/The Gate and how it broke her brain, by which I retaliated and showed her pictures of the up coming Tiny Titans that breaks your brain with the cuteness.
